your best leaving putting tan on at least 24 hours after exfoliating because the purpose of exfoliating is to remove dead skin cells. You should also moisturize straight after exfoliating to keep the moisture in as some exfoliators have a drying agent but don't moisturize 12 hours before tanning.Other things that will help with application are not to use deodorant at least 3 hours before application, as it can have a colour reaction with some tans and when applying the tan if its a cream based use a bit of moisturizer on elbows, knees, hands and feet so you don't turn too dark on those areas.
this has been dictated to me from my beauty therapist girlfriend.How soon after exfoliating is it ok to put fake tann on?
I wouldnt recommend doing that...
